| Back in Gato Grottoes, the main character visits Matilda once again in the Dreamweaving Room. She asks for him/her to find Daena who's been searching for Irwin. The protagonist agrees and start investigating in Lake Kilma. He/she finds Tote on Lakside Cliff, commenting about a lady coming here a while ago asking about entering into a Faeries' magic circle to get into their realm. A short while later, the hero rejoins with Daena, surprised to see him/her here. She reveals that she's here to see Irwin, probably hiding in the land of Faeries. She bids the protagonist farewell and continues her search. The cat warrior is then seen alongside Irwin, the latter being all powered up by fae magic. Daena confronts her demonic friend by asking his intention about Matilda who has been aging rapidly since the incident in Ulkan Mines. She then recalls what Escad told her about Irwin stealing Matilda's elemental powers and accuses Irwin of killing her friend. As she demands Irwin to give her back her powers, he is overwhelmed by the demonic strength of her former friend and collapses on the ground. Irwin asks for transmitting a message for Matilda, telling Daena that when everything comes to an end, she'll see that it was all a dream. As the beastly figure exits the battle grounds, the feline warrior tries to chase him down. The protagonist then sees Daena being transported to the Faeries world by several members of the fair folk, while a humongous beast appears to confront the main character. As the path to the other world is nowhere to be seen, the hero has no choice but to return to Gato Grottoes to report back to Matilda. The abbess recalls seeing many Faeries be herself in her youth, but not Escad. As the protagonist leaves the Dreaweaving Room, a mysterious wind creature hovers around Matilda and introduces himself as Selva of the Four Winds, a member of the Wisdomsan old friend of hers. The old matriarch recognises him as the spirit remembers visiting her when she was an infant. Matilda asks him if he knows how Irwin took away her elemental powers, to which he agrees. Selva declares that the future is decided by those who will walk its path. He then adds that she is destined to become the seventh Wisdom, as she is the one who will end this era. Mathilda painfully admits that she must be punished for her sin of falling in love with Irwin and ask for death. Selva replies that she is allowed to love anyone and that people don't need to fear the shadow cast by light since they don't exist. Should she open her heart to the future, she'd be able to see the flow of time changing direction.
