The hero meets with Professor Bomb during one of his strolls in the junkyard. The shaggy man reveals that all of the junk lying around here is the remnants of artifact creatures that fought in an ancient war. The Professor adds that he once maide a golem out of trash, but the machine ran away. He named the robot Pavlov and ask the protagonist to search for him. The hero agrees to be on the lookout and decides to explore Lake Kilma. There the easily finds the golem, but must chase after it as the machine likes to run away. Finally cornered, the robot reveals that it left the professor to raise a golem army to exterminate foolish creatures. It engages the protagonist in combat, ending up being stopped and returned back to his proprietor. Taken aback by its nefarious intentions, Professor Bomb starts to redesign its creation for good.
