| Keeping his/her promise to Vadise to go after Larc, the protagonist heads to the Underworld to confront him, but is stopped by Sierra who materializes in front of the Macabre Tombstone. She tells the hero that by order of her master Vadise, she will hunt down Larc, but needs his/her help to navigate the Underworld. The two join forces and enter the infernal abyss, immediately being greeted by Drakonis. The echoing voice comments about Sierra having come to retrieve her brother, and summon an battalion of Dark Stalkers to stall the adventurers. Teh Dragoon of Vadise easily disposes of the threat, allowing the group to continue forward. They descend to the bottom of the Underworld, but are stopped by pesky Shadoles, who send them back to the Shrine of the Silent Faces. As they proceed, they are reunited with Larc, kneeling before his master Drakonis. The latter congratulates his follower for his efforts and declares he's going to change into his original form and leave the Underworld. Sierra tries to reason her brother one more time, telling him he's being manipulated by his master, but Larc responds that he's fully aware of that. The Dragoon then faces him master, telling him he's collected Mana energy for him while Drakonis amplifies it. When the time of return is a hand, they will both fight, as only the victor shall win back their life. The cunning dragon tells his trusty Dragoon he must accept his reward first, castin a harming spell to his body. The Crimson Dragon explains that Larc always wanted to be a formidable warrior like her sister, so he shall prove his strength by defeating her. Drakonis teleports outside the area while Larc transforms into a monstrous centaur form. The party is forced to battle the foe, leaving a fainting Dragoon to apologize to his sister. Larc explains in his dying words that he wanted to return to world of the living to be with her. Sierra promises to avenge him as a giant earthquake manifests itself.

| In a cataclysmic event, the Underworld is turned into the Flames, fabled domain of the Crimson Dragon. Vadise's spirit appears before the adventurers, telling them that her soul is there protecting them. The Dragon Princess warns Sierra to not be hasty as there is a powerful barrier around the fortress. Once they cross it, they may be unable to return. Sierra protests but her master tells her to not go after Drakonis alone, as she would be consumed the same way as her brother. Drakonis's weakness is his solitude, trusting and befriending no one. With the bonds of life, they might be able to bring love and support to their cause, which could harm the Crimson Dragon badly. As he desires to bring all life in this world under his control, he is in fact not indifferent to forming bonds with others deep down. Vadise's parting words are her entrusting the adventurers with the bonds of life to stop Drakonis. The duo enters the sinister fortress, inside it battling fearsome foes like the Sky Dragon, the Land Dragon, and the Iron Centaur. Finally reaching its top, the party meets face to face with Drakonis, telling Sierra that she will soon be nurishing him as his brother did. The Crismon Dragon transforms into his true form and a fierce battle ensues. After an endless fight, Drakonis ultimately fall into an explosion restituting Larc's body to Sierra. A rumble is heard, signaling the fortress's collapse back into the Underworld. Back on safe land, Sierra tries to wake her brother, but Vadise's spirit prevents her to do so. Larc explains that Drakonis's blood curse runs through him now, and from this moment forth, for one thousand years, he must remain trapped in the Underworld with Drakonis. Vadies continues by telling her Dragoon that if she touches him, she too will be cursed and confined to the Underworld. Sierra cannot bear to see her brother carrying his burden alone, but Larc insists that this is proof of his sin. He adds that he won't need a thousand years to beak Drakonis's curse and that he has grown accostumed to life in the Underworld. The Dragoon of Vadise promises to pay him a visit. Not long after, a scene depicts Akravator, the Blue Dragon, and Jajara the Bone Dragon to rise again in their respective land along with their stolen Mana energy. The quest ends with Larc visiting Sierra and Vadise in the White Forest.
