Roger and his Dudbear disciples has established the St. Mana Church of Domina the above-ground settlement of the Diggers at it was previously abandoned. The religious organization are preparing an expedition to the White Forest and are in need of more manpower. Meanwhile in Mana Angel Park, Diddle complains about Capella that he doesn't care about life anymore. His performing partner warns him that he should change his tone otherwise the Shadoles will take him away. Diddle is afraid of Shadoles and hope he doesn't get abducted by them. He admits that he likes having fun, but that feeling doesn't last long, and he feels empty afterwards like he doesn't exist. To Capella, it would be boring to have fun all the time and that sadness and loneliness are to be accepted. His partner truly wants to help someone feeling happy. At that moment, a Dudbear appears out of nowhere and kidnaps Diddle in front of his simian partner. The protagonist rushes to the White Forest and follows the Dudbears's track. He/she finally spots Diddle alongside Roger and a group of Dudbears. Roger tells his disciples to keep digging the area until there's nothing but a giant hole. He assures them that Diddle will take care of the potential monsters by putting them asleep with his music. Capella reunites with his friend and the latter tells that he's happy to help people. The monkey replies that the Diggers are really bad guys. Unfortunately, the Dudbears come back to their boss, telling them a big monster is in their way. The whole crew flees while the protagonist defeats the Chimera Lord. A few blocks away, Capella tells Diddle that the Diggers ran away, leaving him alone. The little guy replies that it's no big deal since he had fun helping them.
