Loki: It may have been swallowed up in the sea of chaos... Or perhaps it went back to Sanctuary...

Gauser: So much Mana was lost from the world. I hope that that doesn't cause anything worse to happen...
Gauser: So much Mana was lost from the world.

Valda: Well, I think it's time for us to return...to our respective homes.

Falcon: Everyone should be waiting for us.

Alma: Yes, there was so much we had left behind.

Gauser: It's going to be a lot of work once we get back home. Still... I guess we can all take a deep breath now. I doubt if the Dragon Folk would make any rash move either... At least for a while.

Loki: I should hope not. But there may yet come a time when we must fight it out with the Dragon Lord.

Gauser: Hm... Say, what the Mirage Bishop said... About space and time in Pedda being distorted, or some such thing... Does that mean we may run into our own grown children if we go there?

Loki: Don't be ludicrous. There is no way anything like that would happen. Besides, Simone and I have yet to have a child.

Gauser: Oh. Too bad. It would have made an interesting story to tell...

(The sky is clearing up.)

Gnome: We, too, should be on our way... Back to our Mana Stones.

Shade: Indeed. The benevodons shall return to sleep in their stones. It is not yet their time, after all. We must return to guarding them.

Luna: I suppose we should keep our mouths closed about Anise's mirror. Perhaps...forever?

Gnome: Yes... Or else, the benevodons may yet awaken and become upset! O-ho-ho! What a lovely journey it was. Farewell, all!

And so was Anise's mirror shattered, and the legend of the ancient witch buried in everlasting darkness. The showdown between man and dragon was to come in the world war several years into the future. This battle leaves the capital city of Pedda to become a lost city, never to be visited by a soul. Until one day... The heels of three brave souls--lost in the fabric of time--could be heard clacking on the city's lonely pavement...

THE END
