The Hope Sphere takes the shape of an ovoid glowing blue crystal resting atop a golden lotus-shaped receptacle. Eggs are often symbolic of a potential yet to be realized, in this case Charlotte's existence as the child of parents who cared for one another and for her so much that they defied their respective cultural prohibitions with the hope that one day, humans and elves could live harmoniously.
