| The Students of the Academy of Magic, accompanied by Kathinja, went to the Duma Desert to look for Mephianse, the principal of the Academy, who stole an ancient spell book from the school's library. He gathered his students and came to the desert to try out some of the magic. The group wants to retrive the book, but the desert is way too large to pinpoint his location. Distraught, Kathinja and her students don't know what to do, and thus rely on the main character to solve their predicament. The professor warns him/her about Mephianse's pupils, as they will most likely lie about his wereabouts. Kathinja and her students gets in position throughout the desert to help the hero find the culprit. After pushing throught several student barricades and avoiding being deceived by Mephianse's pupils, the hero finally catches up with Kathinja who warns himher that Mephianse is as strong as two regular students. They arrive to confront the book robber who admits he memorized it before throwing it away. He declares that he's in the midst of creating a star born from a cannon and make them move as he wishes. His utlimate goal is to destroy the world by making all the stars fall. Before Kathinja can stop him, he magically push her and the hero backward where two avian creatures attack the latter. After taking care of the monsters, the hero joins Kathinja once again to stop Mephianse once and for all. Unfortunately, the duo is too late and watch in bewilderment as multiple fireworks are shot from the cannon. As everyone are still in state of pure confusion, Kathinja turns to the hero and thanks him/her by giving out some Beiser Gold.
