The protagonist hops aboard the SS Buccaneer and find Ramtieger, a Pirate Penguin and SS Buccaneer's steersman. He ask which way the protagonist wants to sail and execute his/her commands. The wind suddenly stops blowing, which prevents the ship to move. Meanwhile a Pirate Penguin on the upper deck has fished out a mysterious bottle out of the sea, but cannot seem to a able to open it. He is successful after several attempts, which sets free a mysterious creature named Gova. The spirit wanders around the ship, saying it likes it, while the Penguin runs off frightened. A while later, the ghost is seen terrorizing parts of the vessel, which Cap'n Tusk tries to find a solution to lure it back to its bottle. Unfortunately, the bottle has been lost, and must be retrieved. The Fisherman Penguin is found in barrel located in the lower deck and is tricked by the protagonist into shaking the barrel believing a pretty lady in on board, making the bottle come out. As the main character heads back to the upper deck her/she is attacked by Gova, who is eventually defeated and recaptured inside his prison.
