From ''[[Adventures of Mana]]'': High atop the world was the [Dime Tower (Adventures of Mana)|[Dime Tower]], an ancient structure built in an attempt to reach the fabled [[Mount Illusia|Mt. Illusia]] and the [[Tree of Mana]]. In the present day, [[Sumo]] pursues the corrupt mage [[Julius]] in an effort to rescue [[Fuji]] from his clutches. Sumo meets the [[The Professor|Professor]]'s excavator robot [[Marcy]] who helps him climb the tower. The pair is stonewalled at the top of the tower by the vicious [[Garuda]], which is slain after a brutal battle. The fight, however, has destabilized Dime Tower and forced Sumo to make a harrowing decision. He must press onward and wants to have Marcy in tow; but the automaton states that he cannot leave the tower, and instead decides to hurl Sumo across the gap between the tower and [[Glaive Castle]]. Looking behind him one last time, Dime Tower sinks into the sands with Marcy as Sumo moves forward to his destiny.
