The Gorgon Eye
Cap'n Tusk sent one of his crewmen to scout the area around Lake Kilma but he hasn't returned, making the captain worry that the faeries might have done something to him. As the protagonist introduces them, the pirate penguins ask them for a password. Answering "What?" makes the crew giddy, but Cap'n Tusk replies that they are not a member, despite having guessed correctly. He then orders his crew to get back to the ship before the faeries get a hold of them. After continuing deeper into the woods, the main character encounters the chief walrus and his crew, urging them to head back to the ship. The remaining pirates can't seem to put their mind to rest as long as their crewmates are petrified, but the chief's orders are to be observed.
To flee a belligerent faerie, a flock of penguins are seen jumping off a cliff along with Cap'n Tusk himself. Tote, the local Wisdom and aging tortoise appears near the cliff the Faeries have pushed the pirate crew off, telling the hero they should thread carefully and decide whether or not they want to save them. He decides to jump off as he sees the main character doing the same. Down there, he reveals to the Pirate Penguins whose leader has been turned into stone that the master of the lake holds no treasure and Faeries believe they will die if their master perish. According to him, both are myths. One of the penguin crew tells the old turtle to shut it and to be useful for once. Tote tells them to lure the master of the lake with the protagonist. The crew is suddently apprehensive about the monster, asking how big is it, which the turtle demonstrate by walking from quite a large distance. Feeling their hesitation, Tote takes the Cap'n Tusk stone statue and hurls it into the lake, his pirate penguin crew immediately following him. After defeating the monster the penguins are seen making a live ladder up the cliff they fell in earlier. The crew give the protagonist the Firefly Lamp artifact as thanks.
The Quiet Sea
After giving out the right coordinates to Ramtieger the oarsmen the wind stops blowing and a pirate penguin on the upper deck is found to have fished out a strange bottle. He opens it up, letting out a mysterious ghost claiming its loves the place. Cap'n Tusk tells the protagonist they have to find the bottle in order to capture the ghost and throw it back to the sea. Fortunately, the bottle is found in the lower deck and the pirate who found it is tricked into giving it back to the hero. This angers Gova the ghost who attacks them, but is eventually sealed back in. The Captain rewards the protagonist with a chunk of Altena Alloy for their good deeds.
The Treasure Map
A fellow crewmen tells Ramtieger the Captain wants him in his office. Cap'n Tusk tells of a treasure map hidden in the Mekiv Caverns, and that he must get his flippers on it before the Diggers. He mandates the hero to search for the treasure map inside the cave while the Penguins go ahead. There he finds Roger, head of the Diggers, berating his dudbear crew for losing the map. Helped by the Pirate Penguins, the main character must now find each of the Dudbears holding a piece of the map scattered around the caverns. After retrieving all the pieces in time, Cap'n Tusk congratulates the hero on the SS Buccaneer.
The Snowfield Faeries
The Walrus Captain is excited to have landed near the Fieg Snowfields has he heard of some treasure buried there. The protagonist gladly joins the pirate crew for the expedition, but the penguins's bodies rapidly freeze due to the harsh climate, leaving the hero alone in their quest to find the treasure. They finally obtain the fabled Draupnir after solving the faeries's puzzle and returns it to the Captain.
Buried Treasure
The SS Buccaneer has docked on the coast of Madora Beach, as women are know to sunbathe with their tops unlaced. There, one of the pirate penguins inform the captain the Dudbears have already found the place, but Tusk reminds his crewmen they badger creatures are known for their greed. He orders the protagonist to use 15 Halo Coins to make distract them. After bribing them with money, the hero finds treasure on a secret beach, but Roger stops him, claiming the booty for the Diggers. The main character gives some Halo Coins to his lackeys, who take the gold and grab their boss away from the treasure boxes. Cap'n Tusk rewards them with a single ore.
Gilbert: Love is Blind
A peculiar couple is seen aboard the SS Buccaneer, where Gilbert encourages Elle to sing her love to him. She replies she cannot, but Gilbert reminds her that the wings of a siren who doesn't sing will wither. She still refuses to do so, telling him the ship wil sink if she does. The pirate penguins suddenly tie the poet to a mast, thinking they will become rich if they sell the peculiar animal. Elle finally sings to help Gilbert out of his misery, which attracts a sea creature that attacks the ship. After taking the monster down, the pirate crew accuses the siren of trying to destroy the ship. Gilbert presses his beloved to fly away, but she adamantly refuses to leave him to die. Cap'n Tusk tells his crew to stop their shenanigans and let the centaur free.

Personality
Contrary to expectations for Cap'n Tusk to be a courageous, fearless individual who exudes an aura of veneration as the commander of a large following of pirates, he is, in actuality, rather cowardly and easily frightened. This fact is made especially evident in The Gorgon's Eye, where, prior to being petrified by a Faerie and hurled off the cliff overlooking Lake Kilma, Cap'n Tusk is observed to impose the responsibility of offending the Faeries to the Pirate Penguins, insisting that he had no part to play in the act.

Cap'n Tusk's cowardice extends towards his speech register itself, where he shies from articulating words that he considers to be vulgar and offensive. In The Gorgon's Eye, when prompted by the ever-encouraging Penguins to issue a momentous threat to deal with any of their failings, Cap'n Tusk falls short of expectations; asserting that he will "ker-clunk" their heads, he later sheepishly explains that his mother taught him the importance of polite speech.
