Duelle is one of the first two character seen when the protagonist makes their first step inside [[Domina]]. He will call out [[Elazul]] who's heading inside the bar. He tells him to at least give him his name, to which Elazul complies. The onion warrior will comment on him being a piece of work afterwards. He will be later encountered either on [[Luon Highway]] or inside the [[Mekiv Caverns]] depending on the player's first quest and will provide useful tips on combat.

Belying Duelle's adorable, endearing physical appearance is a spirit of perseverance and determination, one that sees him devotedly trawling various lands to act as a guide to aid the protagonist in their travels around [[Fa'Diel]].


Duelle is also known to be rather bold and outspoken, electing to speak his mind instead of holding his tongue regarding matters that he considers distasteful. This is proven through Niccolo's Business Unusual, where he bluntly dismisses Niccolo's Wheel as nothing more than junk to dissuade Teapo from paying a hefty price to acquire it.
