Kid Goblins appear in Gaia's Navel, where they are usually seen dozing off at their guarding post. They can be quickly woken up by walking near them or striking them with melee or magic. While their reflexes and pacing are quick, they can easily be dealt with while still in a daze. They attack by swinging their axe forward.

Randi also gets ambushed by a pack of Kid Goblins near the Water Palace and is almost boiled alive at their camping ground. He is saved by Primm who happened to walk by.

They can be found in two additional locations in the HD remake, mainly the Golden Road and Stonesplit Gap.
