The '''Sahagin''', also known as '''Water Bandit''' or '''Water Thug''', is a recurring enemy in the ''[[Mana (series)|Mana]]'' series. Often appearing as a humanoid frog type monster, they are one of the most commonly recognized creatures in the franchise and have been appearing in all installments ever since their debut in ''[[Final Fantasy Adventure]]''.

==General Information==
===Physical Description===
Sahagins are round, piscean creatures coverted in green scales and orange webby fins in lieu of hands and feets. They sport a mohawk made of fins on their head and back. Their bulbous eyes have a tired expression and their orange lips are perpetually swollen. They are often seen carrying a spear that they use either as a melee weapon or a projectile.

===Attributes===
Being aquatic creatures, Sahagins often haunt every bodies of water available in games they appear in. Their amphibious nature lead them to roam fields and caves as well. They can ever thrive in frigid regions. Very rarely will they venture in hot & dry environments although they are known exceptions.

These aquatic monsters are naturally attuned to the [[Undine|water]] element. They will most likely be vulnerable to the [[Salamander|fire]] element although there are some exceptions to that rule.

The Sahagin has only one known variant called the [[Petit Poseidon]]. It is characterized by having stronger stats and casting [[Undine]] magic in some games.
