Background
Stonesplit Gap is a canyon formed by a massive tear in the crust of the earth beneath the central continent. The path through the chasm consists of two mountain caves connected via a long bridge. The bridge itself was said to have been built in peacetime, and facilitates trade between the seaports to the south and east and Valsena to the north and west. At the southern pass, dwarfs have carefully concealed their home behind a wall of refractive rock, making the entrance appear caved-in.
