Apologies for slow connectivity[edit]

Sorry about the slow connections -- I have to use a shared hosting plan, as I cannot afford dedicated hosting, and often what it means whenever the connections are very slow is that they work on server maintenance (I've contacted tech supprot a few times before & they'd often give that as being the reason). I am confident that one day I will find a way to afford a better hosting plan. Results May Vary (talk) 09:51, November 22, 2021 (MST)

finalfantasywiki.com[edit]

Have you ever heard of this wiki? I've been slowly building it up since Jan 2020, and I wonder if you're interested. Some highlights include the Ultros, Cloud Strife, Mount Hobs, Red Mousse, and Flamerus Rex articles (also, sry if the ref tags aren't working -- I'll have a look into that). Like the Wiki of Mana, it's also being done from scratch, and has a unique way of presenting the information. Results May Vary (talk) 18:35, November 22, 2021 (MST)

Thank you for your input. I have said that I build these up from scratch & attribute to Wikipedia if ever I reuse their content as a basis (like I did for the Rabite article). With independent wikis my strategy is first and foremost to have it be a good experience -- of course the goal is to fill in as much as possible, but having an alternative that others can enjoy (without the feeling of strictness looming over them) is what I value the most. This is why I've used the Mario Wiki.com model when creating wikis, as they prove that they can manage a wiki on a large franchise without too many strict rules. On a somewhat related note, have you read the coverage policy I made there? I derived it from the Super Mario Wiki's coverage policy, and figured you'd be interested to see how I explain Final Fantasy's relation to so many of the other Square Enix franchises (including Mana). Speeds[edit]

The speed is much faster isn't it? It's great! Also, a few days ago, I forked SaGa Wiki off Fandom, and the community loves it. Results May Vary (talk) 00:46, December 10, 2021 (UTC)

Game Boy Player Guide[edit]

I saw you were looking for it here (sry if looked as if I'm stalking your edits there). Here's a download link: https://archive.org/download/Tekken3PrimasOfficialStrategyGuide1998/GameBoynintendoPlayersGuide-1991.cbz Results May Vary (talk) 13:45, December 15, 2021 (UTC)

Thanks. Problem is, nobody over there is willing to basically extract the table from that guide. It's basically a 26 x 26 grid with matching genera blanked. Swordzman236 (talk) 02:02, December 16, 2021 (UTC)
Wow it's a very big table. I can see why folks are overwhelmed at the task of extracting it Results May Vary (talk) 04:24, December 16, 2021 (UTC)

Admin[edit]

Just letting you know that you're now an administrator here Results May Vary (talk) 22:12, January 8, 2022 (UTC)

ty[edit]

Thank you for fixing some of my mistakes on the Mana (series) page & preserving the Seiken Densetsu 3 name in historical context. I kind of rushed the revision, so thank you. Results May Vary (talk) 04:22, January 18, 2022 (UTC)

With handheld systems the category[edit]

What will the category for home consoles be then? Home systems, while consistent with a similar word, doesn't sound as fitting as a title as like "Home consoles," yet there's the consistency with wording I think. Results May Vary (talk) 01:48, January 29, 2022 (UTC)

Right. This is where things get a little weird. "Console" implies it's some kind of terminal. And yet gamers have used "home console" since, apparently, the dawn of time. I suppose we could use "home console systems". The Switch straddles both as a hybrid. Swordzman236 (talk) 02:09, January 29, 2022 (UTC)
Though "Home console systems" can sound redundant. Results May Vary (talk) 02:40, January 29, 2022 (UTC)

Re: Three swords, one weapon slot[edit]

I would prioritize the latest name used (Rapier) but obviously keep them all to one article. Remember we have the {{distinguish}} tag to differentiate, so if like two articles in English are Broadsword yet not the case with Japanese, then there's the Distinguish template to clarify confusion. Then there's also the identifiers, and I'd follow this guide (I plan to adapt for here). Results May Vary (talk) 14:14, January 31, 2022 (UTC)

Just letting you know[edit]

Letting you know that I'm no longer using Discord, so you'll need to contact me here if you need anything. Hopefully Rabillion can return soon... I miss him Results May Vary (talk) 14:28, March 10, 2022 (UTC)

Re: Administrative snag[edit]

You could ask Ampera (who has 1337 skills) to become a 'crat or something. I got in a really bad personal conflict with others & was told that I cannot be an admin (for the time being). Results May Vary (talk) 21:20, March 12, 2022 (UTC)

Sounds good. Keep up the good work! Results May Vary (talk) 13:26, March 13, 2022 (UTC)

Appearance/themes[edit]

Just curious, is it possible to view this wiki in a dark theme? If not, is that something that can be added?

MightyYT (talk) 21:31, September 15, 2022 (UTC)

I'll have to find someone to ask. Good idea. Swordzman236 (talk) 00:51, September 16, 2022 (UTC)
