The Crimson Dragon is first seen in the Pulpit of Eternal Flame at the deepest level of the Underworld during ''The Fallen Emperor'' quest. He has summon the protagonist and tested his strength to see if he/she is worthy of defeating the other three dragons. He explains to the main character that he wants him to help Larc retrieve his stolen powers the Dragons of the overworld has kept within [[Mana Stone|Mana stones]] and slay them in the process. He swears to return the protagonist to his previous form if he/she should preform his request. He is then seen again in ''The Crimson Dragon'' quest where he returns to his original form after absorbing all the mana power from the Mana stones, betraying the promise he made with Larc of fighting him to determine a victor.
