Mushbooms return once again in Trials of Mana and are found during the first two chapters of the game, such as in Rabite Forest, Cascade Cavern, Molebear Moors, and more. They can be frequently seen with their body buried underground, only to pop up upon sensing the protagonists' presence. They are surprisingly quick on their feet and like to bash into their target. They have a bit more endurance than most enemies early on, especially in the remake, but are seldom a threat since they do not use their sleep spore attack very often.
