Much later in Chapter 16, Requiem in the Winds, during Roget and crew's search for the remaining Mana Stones and Elementals, Joster agrees to lead the party to Gusthall where the Windstone is said to reside. There, they encounter Olbex and the captured princess of Laurent. The chief of Laurent orders them to round the remaining Laurentian refugees if they wish to see Minerva unharmed. Olbex also hopes in killing Qucas, the one who slayed his brother Bautcher during a diplomatic incident with Laurent several years ago. The princess of Laurent is surrounded by a mysterious protective twister and is able to draw the Nevarlan agents detaining her away. the resistance takes this opportunity to deal a fatal blow to Olbex who perishes in the process. Turns out Minerva was protected by the wind elemental during the fight. Joster escorts Minerva back to the Wind Kingdom while Alma stays with Roget and crew to find the remaining Moon spirit in Ferolia.
