Bravely Default: For the Sequel (ブレイブリーデフォルトフォーザ・シークウェル) is the upgraded version of the original Bravely Default game upon which the American and European versions of Bravely Default are based, was released on December 5, 2013, in Japan. A rerelease with the original subtitle of Where the Fairy Flies is planned for the upcoming Nintendo Switch 2 as a launch title, and is due Summer 2025.
