War of the Visions: Final Fantasy Brave Exvius is a tactical RPG developed by Singapore game house gumi with assets licensed from Square Enix, and the prequel to the mobile game Final Fantasy Brave Exvius. Launched in Japan throughout 2019, the game was later translated for the global market and released March 2020. The story takes place on the fictional continent of Ardra in a time long before the existence of the broader world of Lapis was known. In this time period, multiple factions are engaged in a great war for control of the continent, aided by various manifestations of warriors past, present, future, and even from faraway realms known as Visions. The player takes control of Mont Leonis, a prince of his namesake kingdom who has the power to conjure these visions at will.

Although War of the Visions was extremely successful in its combined five-and-a-half-year worldwide run, garnering more than 10 million downloads, a decline in the global player base prompted the developers to sunset Global service as of March 25, 2025 to end May 30, 2025. Service to the original Japanese version will continue beyond this point.

War of the Visions: Final Fantasy Brave Exvius x Trials of Mana[edit]

Main banner

Duration: 2024/09/26 - 2024/10/31 Worldwide (PST)

Mana characters:

In late 2024, the game launched a collaboration with Trials of Mana that lasted one month, featuring a side story involving Angela and Duran against the Crimson Wizard after the three stumble into a dimensional rift. As the red-cloaked mage seeks a new kind of power, sorceress and knight join forces with the WotV cast to stop their escaped archenemy.

All three were obtainable as units during the collaboration period, in tandem with several commemorative Vision Cards drawn exclusively for the event.
