Amanda's Tear, spelled Amanda in the original release, is a key item that appears in Final Fantasy Adventure and its remake, Adventures of Mana.

Final Fantasy Adventure/Adventures of Mana[edit]
In search of the Medusa's tear to cure her brother Lester of his curse, Sumo and Amanda encounter the fabled monster at the end of their trip into the Cave of MedusaFFA/Shifting SandsAoM. In the attempt to kill the creature, Amanda is fatally bitten by the Medusa, dooming her to become a Medusa as the curse goes. The long-time friend begs the hero to slay her before she turns into a gorgon, which he does reluctantly. Before succumbing to his blade, Amanda sheds a single tear for Sumo to bottle in a vial before heading back to Jadd and cure her brother.
