This article is about Medusa from Final Fantasy Adventures & Adventures of Mana. For the general species, see Medusa.

The Medusa is a boss in Final Fantasy Adventure and its direct remake Adventures of Mana.

Overvieww[edit]

The Gorgon is found at the end of the Shifting Sands. The hero teams up with Amanda to retrieve the creature’s tears needed for his brother Lester to turn back into a human. Unfortunately, the foul demon dies before shedding any tears. Amanda is bitten by the Gorgon in the commotion, doomed to become the next Medusa. She pleads Sumo to end her life and take her tears to her brother. The hero has no other choice but to do her bidding, and get the precious liquid back to Jadd.

In the original Game Boy game, the Medusa loops around the stage somewhat erratically and throws her pet serpents at the team.

In Adventures of Mana, The Medusa circles around the hero, never losing its sight and throws its snakes in a fan-shaped pattern. It can also scratch party members if close enough. Defeating it will reward the player with the Medusa Marauder achievement.
