Aura is one of the eight Mana Spirits in Legend of Mana, and is exclusive to the world of Fa'Diel as presented in the overall story. Taking her name from the Latin word for the element of gold, aurum, Aura herself represents the classical element of metal as used in Oriental mysticism. She bears a similar appearance to and replaces the moon spirit Luna, being a sprite enveloped in a shell while holding a crystal orb to her body. Unlike Luna, however, Aura's shell resembles a flute glass with a crown-like structure above her head. As with the spirit replaced, Aura's powers are drawn from her element and yet bear a variety of eclectic effects with changes in the target's status.
