The Duchy of Glaive, otherwise known as Empire Glaive or the Glaive Empire, is the secondary antagonistic organization in Final Fantasy Adventure and Adventures of Mana. A similar faction called Granz Realm takes its place in Sword of Mana.
History[edit]
Little is known or explained of this dukedom throughout the games' stories. It is implied to have been formed after the fall of the Vandole Empire and therefore also implied to be the direct successor thereof. Glaive Castle is its seat, located below Mount Illusia.
