Critical Choice is a memory gem in Echoes of Mana. It was first introduced August 31, 2022 (UTC) as part of the Swashbucklers Harvest.

has taken Luka hostage, threatening her life in exchange
for the seed.

Vandole Empire! Hand over that seed if you want Luka
to survive this encounter!'

This memory gem depicts the moment in Secret of Mana when Sage Luka is held hostage by General Geshtar, who demands the Mana Seed of Water in return for sparing the woman's life. Whether they refuse or not, the party must give up the seed anyway. Nonetheless, Geshtar escapes without the Seed and leaves the Jabberwocky to deal with them.
