Class change is an important game mechanic in Sword of Mana.
Overwiew
For every level gained, the player as the opportunity to allocate 1 point in a class type of their choice. The six types are Warrior, Monk, Magician, Sage, Thief, and Random. Once the player has put 5 points into a type (or multiple for the Random type), they a locked into a class tree and changes class. Players will need to allocate more points into each class types to switch to advanced classes. Each class names and statistics are based on their Trials of Mana equivalent.
