The Ether is a recurring consumable item in the Mana series. A staple of the early jrpgs for magic replenishment, it can be considered the predecessor of the Faerie Walnut along with its ungrade the Hi-Ether.
History
Final Fantasy Adventure/Adventures of Mana
In both Final Fantasy Adventure and its direct remake, an ether restores 10 MP to Sumo upon consumption.
