The Eye Spy is an enemy in Final Fantasy Adventure and its direct remake Adventures of Mana.
Overview[edit]
This odd occular monster can first be encountered aboard the Glaive Airship. It is one of the few monsters that are stuck in place unless the hero interacts with it by swinging his weapon. It may send ring beams in retaliation, turning Sumo into a Moogle. This attack can also petrify the hero. Fortunately, it has low defense power and any attack will dispose of the creature. The Eye Spy can drop behind a chest containing an Ether. It also appear in a multitude of dungeons, mainly the Crooked Boulder, the Old Mansion, the Undersea Volcano, the Buried Ruins, Dime Tower, and the Temple of Mana.
In Adventures of Mana, Eye Spies now can shoot their eye beams more quickly.
