Land Creation System is an important game mechanic in Legend of Mana. It is mainly used to create a unique landscape for the player to experience in every new game.
Concept
Legend of Mana starts out with an empty World Map and introduces the player to its Land creation mechanic by first placing a Mailbox Artifact on a specific spot, turning it into the hero's Home. With 26 Artifacts to place on a 6x6 World Map grid, the game offers a vast amount of possible combinations in regards to land disposition.
