By placing artifacts on the World Map, players can influence several metrics depending on which placement they choose from and for which land. Because of this, creating a Land on a certain spot can make certain parameters unaccessible and/or unlock others. Here is what can Land creation affect in the game, making some missable:

Land Creation System is an important game mechanic in Legend of Mana. It is mainly used to create a unique landscape for the player to experience in every new game.

Legend of Mana starts out with an empty World Map and introduces the player to its Land creation mechanic by first placing a Mailbox Artifact on a specific spot, turning it into the hero's Home, effectively creating their first Land. With 26 Artifacts to place on a 6x6 World Map grid, the game offers a vast amount of possible combinations in regards to land disposition.
