Menos is a settlement in Final Fantasy Adventure and its remake Adventures of Mana.

Story[edit]

Sumo has fallen from Glaive's airship and through the thatch roof of an old man's home. Menos is also the hometown of Amanda, a former gladiator from Glaive who with the old man marvels at the fact that Sumo has survived a drop from such a height. Sumo rests the night to recover from his injuries.

While Sumo sleeps, Amanda returns to the house and takes the Mana Pendant given him by Fuji for safekeeping. She believes it might save her brother Lester from a curse laid by Davias, and apologizes to Sumo before leaving town. Sumo awakens the next morning, stunned by the theft.

Meanwhile, a young boy in the village notes that they used to see chocobos around the forest to the north. Sumo travels there to investigate, and finds a single egg, which hatches instantly. The young chick, a female, imprints upon him as her father, to his astonishment.

The pair heads for the Palmy Desert as Sumo gives chase to Amanda.
