“The Mylos Woods stretch across Illusia Isle, encompassing everything but Verdeus Borough and the sanctuary itself. The concentration of mana emanating from the Mana Tree has made the woods especially thick and full of strange and wonderous plants. Dryad, the elemental of wood, makes her home in that overgrown jungle. It’s very easy to get lost in the dense, dark foliage. Soul guards are warned to keep a close eye on their alm charges as they traverse the woods, so as not to lose any of them.”
in-game description

Mylos Woods is a field in Visions of Mana. Comprising the majority of Illusia Isle, it is a lush jungle overflowing with colorful vegetation. Sunlight is sparse at ground level as the canopy is so dense only a small amount of light pierces through it. It is divided into two main areas, the Mylos Woods proper and the Mylos Backwood. The second area has significantly less treeshade than the previous one, providing much more sunlight. Verdeus Borough is located amidst the two sections, with the Sanctuary Entrance found after crossing the poisonous swamp comprising the backwoods.
