“The Lefeya Drifts are on the opposite side of Mt. Gala from Longren. There was once a huge river running through Lefeya, but it’s currently completely iced over. Though the area has always had a cooler climate, it has become a frozen wasteland ever since it lost the blessings of the moon elemental. The flora and fauna were unable to endure the sudden change in climate and can still be seen frozen in their tracks.”
In-game description

Lefeya Drifts is a field in Visions of Mana. It is a vast icy valley nestled in the central mountain range of Trynia Contient. The area is perpetually plunged in the dark thanks to it being always nighttime. The valley is laterally divided in two areas, the western part connecting on its southern point with Mt. Gala and the eastern side linking the entrance to Etaern, the Moonlit Parish. The Ancient Ruins of the Lefeya Drifts are found due west of the area, housing a slew of powerful enemies. Remnants of the previous wildlife can be seen frozen all around the drifts.

Background[edit]

The Bridge connecting the drifts to the Fallow Steppe has long been destroyed, forcing travelers to venture into the mysterious parish should they wish to cross the gap.
