Like any produce, Masked Potatoes have multiple uses.
- It can lure wild monster pets into gaining their trust, sending them to the Monster Corral.
- It can feed tamed monster pets inside the Corral to make them alter their stat boots & personality.
- It is also a secondary material used in tempering.

Tempering[edit]
- It raises the Heavy stat of a tempered weapon by 25%, but lowers the Sharp parameter by 25%. It has no effect on an armor. Also, stacking Masked Potatoes on a weapon doesn't yield added bonuses, so only one should be used when tempering.
