- Meat is a common drop with little effect when tempering, so it's useful for doing tempering steps without changing cards. For example, with an Yggdrasil card, repeatedly tempering with meat lets Yggdrasil increase stats each step, with no card changes.
- Although you can put Dragon Steak in a pet's feedbox, it has no effect on pet stats, and is equivalent to an empty feedbox.
