Collection of Mana is an anthology release in the Mana series of action role-playing games originally developed by Square for various Nintendo hardware. Ported and packaged by M2 and published by Square Enix exclusively for the Nintendo Switch, the anthology contains software-emulated re-releases of the first three titles in the series while updating the included text to adapt to current cultural norms. Collection of Mana was first released in Japan on June 1, 2017 and then on June 11, 2019 in western countries.
The anthology consists of the following games in their largely unmodified states, with basic emulation functions added to a custom user interface (UI):
While each game in the Collection of Mana is notable on its individual merits, the Collection is particularly notable for hosting the only official multi-language localization of what was previously known as Seiken Densetsu 3 in its original state. This same localization would later be applied to the 3D remake published almost a year later.
In 2020, the SaGa series received a compilation title for the Nintendo Switch titled Collection of SaGa: Final Fantasy Legend, which was done in a similar format to the Collection of Mana, and it consists of the first three SaGa titles, which were localized in North America as the Final Fantasy Legend series.

---|---|---|---|
Release | Reviewer, Publication | Score | Comment |
Switch | Damien Mcferran, Nintendo Life | 9/10 | "When you consider how many titles Konami is packing into its Anniversary Collection packages – and that their retail price is almost half what Square Enix is demanding for the three games included here – it's impossible to not question the value of Collection of Mana." |
Switch | Bruce Lachlan, Switch Player | 4/5 | "Collection of Mana includes three must-play games for any JRPG fan. They have beautiful art design, incredible soundtracks, and Trials of Mana may arguably be the best game the SNES ever had. Unfortunately it’s a bit light on additional content beyond the games themselves." |
Switch | Alana Hagues, RPGFan | 90/100 | "Collection of Mana, heck even just Trials of Mana in the West, is a dream come true for me. If you decide to pick this up, you’re getting three wonderful games that you can play anywhere. Some extra features, like a museum with the series’ artwork, or a history lesson on the entire franchise, wouldn’t have gone amiss, but we got something we never thought we’d get." |
