The player may notice a "Password" option in all weapon and sundries shops. No hint is ever given as to what the password is. By entering the phrase "knight for a day", Sumo's visible suit of armor will change from red to platinum silver. The change will take effect immediately, and will persist for the entire game when saved. The suit is a reference to Duran's Paladin class in Trials of Mana.
