The Long Seed is a seed and recurring item in the Mana series.

History

Legend of Mana

As with any seeds, the Long Seed has two uses.

• Its main use is to be planted in the Orchard to grow Produce.
• It can be used as a secondary material to temper onto equipment, altering their stats.

Sprouting odds

This is a list of all the Long Seed combinations that provide produce. Single seeds and two of the same seed give the same chances, the second seed only providing a fourth produce. Note that seeds are depicted by their respective color.

Tempering

• Tempering a Long Seed raises the Dryad elemental essence by 1 and adds a Dryad marker. This effect is stackable up by 2.
• It also raises the constitution stat by 1. This effect is not stackable.
• The Dryad (card) Spirit Card is summoned for every Long Seed tempered.

Big Seeds can be obtained by defeating the following enemies:

• Shrieknip

Sword of Mana

Long Seeds are a type of seed used to grow produce inside the Hot House in Sword of Mana.

• Buy: N/A
• Sell: 15 L
• Effect: Used to grow produce.
• Places to buy: N/A
• Item Drop from Assassinant, Bebe, Hoppin' Tick, Kid Dragon, Land Dragon, Locud, Sand Scorpio, Slikspitter, Sky Dragon, Werewolf.

Below is a list of every possible combination of produce yield the player can get from Trent in the orchard. The first seed is always a round seed and is given first, the second seed and the day they are planted determine the produce.
