Stun is a recurring status ailment in the Mana series.

Effect[edit]

The victim is knocked down (but not asleep) for a brief period of time, bewildered and unable to act while on the ground, creating an opportunity for the attacker to land multiple/rapid blows without a response in kind. Unlike spacing out, the victim cannot rebound from stun by being struck, and must wait in-place to recover. Stars may spin above the victim's head while incapacitated.

History[edit]

Trials of Mana HD[edit]

During certain boss battles, a tough enemy may pause before unleashing their most powerful attack. While paused, the enemy or an auxiliary target will have a blue stun gauge on it. Depleting all active stun gauges will stun the enemy.

Echoes of Mana[edit]

While mechanically similar to Trials of Mana, the stun gauge is now purple instead of blue. Players can also be stunned themselves by a powerful blow from an enemy.
