Alas, his encounter with the Tree Maiden caused the Echoes within to corrupt him, costing him his life. He and Gaia are later seen as spirits watching over the boy and the Spirit Child. |

Also known as the Face of the Earth, he shared his knowledge to Keldric and Faye about the Guardian Beast before being felled by the Lorimarian army. Opening cutscene | The Mana spirit of wind. He has a whimsical and easy-going attitude. He's the first Mana spirit to join Keldric's adventure. His power can create small whirlwinds, knocking enemies away. |

Opening cutscene | The Mana spirit of earth. A peaceful adviser, he acts as the leader of the spirits and the main narrator of the story. He's the second Mana spirit to join Keldric's adventure. His elemental power causes enemies to be magnetized to each other. |

Opening cutscene | The Mana spirit of fire. Prone to friendly outbursts, his outspoken personality clashes with Gnome's sensible mindset. She's the third Mana spirit to join Keldric's adventure. His elemental power sets enemies on fire. |
