The Rainbow Item Seed is a consumable item exclusive to Trials of Mana HD. It has the highest chance of yielding a rare item, including the strongest equipment for class-3 & 4. Its rarity makes it impossible to get it through shops, sparkles, urns, or even chests. Players can only collect it by defeating certain end-game enemies.
Like all seeds, its other use is to recover a set amount of health to all party members.

- Like other seeds, it can be planted in any magic pots for a randomized rare item, including but not limited to accessories, exclusive weapons & armor, and class-changing items.
- Alternatively, it can be used to recover 100 HP on all party members.
