The Ferry Flute is a key item in the Mana series.
History[edit]
Trials of Mana[edit]
Chapter II[edit]
After escaping from Beuca Island's imminent eruption, the party is escorted back to the coast of the central continent near the Golden Road by Vuscav, the ruler of the seas. Meeting with Hero King Richard in castle Valsena for their next Mana Stones locations, His Majesty entrusts the heroes with the mystical flute capable of summoning the sea creature.
Usage[edit]
Should the player use the Ferry Flute on a beach, the party can summon Vuscav and hop on its back to travel on sea. The instrument becomes obsolete once the party obtains the Flammie Drum. Here are the places the sea creature can be called and land on.
- Rabite Forest (near Jadd Stronghold)
- Golden Road (near Maia)
- Heavensway (near Palo)
- Alrant
- Sirhtan
- Mintas
- Lampbloom Woods
- Oblivisle
Visions of Mana[edit]
With Vuscav appearing once more, he gives up the Ferry Flute after the convoy retrieves him from Tatoh Temple and takes their first voyage. He can only land at marked shores and docks; and again, Vuscav's utility decreases once Ramcoh gains her Flammie form.
