Granz, also known as Lord Granz, is a character in Sword of Mana.
Background[edit]
According to Marley, Lord Granz was called the Man with a magical voice and was one of the legendary three Gemma Knights. He founded Granz Realm. Though he could have subdued all of Vandole territories, he resisted pressure to become king and instead succeeded to the head of a modest duchy. As he battled the Vandoles, his melodious voice brought peace to the people. He summoned several of his Mavole friends and resolved the crisis. He never hurt anyone in battle, hence his nickname of Swordless Knight.
