Felapines, also known by the fan-coined term Niccolo tribe, are a recurring species in the Mana universe. A member of the species by the name Niccolo has appeared in several nonconsecutive titles.
Background[edit]
Often mistaken for catfolk, with whom they share a common verbal tic, these creatures combine the thick, furry coat and long ears of a rabbit with several traits of common cats. They are known to exist in large families (clans) as salespeople or traders; for having mastered their craft, felapines are perceived as shrewd and cunning. As salespeople, they value making lucre above all else, and as a result may charge for items at rates much higher than an ordinary merchant. This being the case, one must always be careful to avoid being burned by a shady deal while maintaining a weather eye for a rare or exclusive buy.
