Final Fantasy Adventure/Adventures of Mana[edit]
Ice tiles are found across multiple dungeons, usually serving as skidding puzzles where inanimate snowmen are used to hit a switch otherwise unreachable. The special tiles first appear in the Marsh Cellar and reappear inside the Shifting Sands, the Forbidden Mines and Cara Mountains.

Trials of Mana[edit]
The aptly titled Labyrinth of Ice is covered in ice from all sides. In the 2D version, ice flooring is considered as normal tile, so player characters won't skid around while crossing it.
The 3D version adds pools of frozen water with ice physics and multiple ice scaffolding with low traction to the labyrinth, making some platforms hard to access.
