Ifrit, also known as Efflite or Iflyte, is a recurring boss in the Mana series. As it only appears in Final Fantasy Adventure and its subsequent remakes, tt is portrayed as a fiery humanoid creature guarding the legendary sword Excalibur at the bottom of the Subsea Volcano.

In the GameBoy installment and its direct remake, it can turn into a giant boulder to crush Sumo or summon a wall of fire at him. Defeating the ablazed monster rewards the player with the Ifrit Extinguisher achievement. In the Sword of Mana remake, the Efflite can attack by punching its opponents. It can also turn into a fireball and quickly bounce up and down to harm party members. Despite its looks, the Efflite is not weak to water spells.
