The Tezla, also known as Grell and Marmablue, is a recurring enemy in the Mana series.

History[edit]

Bearing a striking resemblance to jellyfish, the Tezla is often less of a threat and more of an annoyance than its appearance would suggest. What it doesn't do in terms of physical damage, it certainly makes up for it in terms of debilitating attacks, often draining the life force or magical power of the victim. Direct contact with one of these creatures can impose a variety of status effects on the victim as well.

Being somewhat amorphous, direct physical attacks against a Tezla often do little or no damage at all. They are best dealt with from a distance via magical spells and abilities.
