Main article: Mana Shrine

The Mana Shrine sits atop the Mana Temple and is the last dungeon visited by Sumo before confronting Julius. There, he meets with Fuji's mother who transforms his Rusty Sword into Excalibur, giving the young knight enough strength to battle the evil mage and free the captive maiden. As the Mana Tree withers from the actions of the dying magician, Fuji follows her mother's footsteps by turning into the next Mana Goddess and appoints Sumo as her Gemma Knight.

The Mana Beast battling with the Mana Fortress
Main article: Mana Fortress

Randi, Primm, & Popoi ride Flammie atop the revived flying fortress of yore and rush inside it to stop Thanatos from using up all the world's Mana and destroy the world. There, the skeletal sorcerer tries to hijack Dyluck's body, but the soldier resists and destroy himself before he can do so, forcing Thanatos to show his hideous true appearance to the party. After his defeat, the Mana Beast is summoned to battle the fortress and the trio has no other choice but to slay the legendary beast before it ends up ripping the land asunder. With the beast killed, the Mana of the world is no more, making Popoi the sprite vanish from existence.
