Buried Treasure is a quest in Legend of Mana.
Premise[edit]
The protagonist heads to the SS Buccaneer with the intention to sail to another exciting destination. After asking for Ramtieger to steer the rudder, a Pirate Penguin informs him yet again that he is summoned by Cap'n Tusk. Turns out the ship as landed into the beaches of Madora, a famous tourist attraction. The protagonist is asked to join the crew to search for treasure. Unfortunately, one of the crew members claims that the Dudbears probably have sniffed this place out already. This doesn't deter the captain, who orders his underlings to scout the area immediately. Cap'n Tusk turns to the protagonist and give him/her 15 Halo Coins to get the Dudbears to move, as they are notoriously fond of money. After a long barter session with the Diggers, the protagonist eventually succeeds in finding the prized treasure in Queen's Caves. He/she is stopped by Roger, claming that the booty is rightfully owned by the Diggers. The hero gives out a Halo Coin to the Dudbears, leading them to carry Roger back in the caverns. The Captain of the SS Buccaneer is once again proud of his/her work and give out a single ore as a reward.
Solution[edit]
- Step at 20 crabs or more at Madora Beach;
- Go to see Ramtieger at the SS Buccaneer;
- Tell him to go West, West, North;
- Accept Cap'n Tusk's offer.
Note 2: Sometimes you can't find the spot you must sail to to activate this event. If you can't, check the sea chart at http://www.gamefaqs.com.
Before you begin this Event make sure that you stepped on 20 or more crabs at Madora Beach.
Enter the SS Buccaneer. Go see Ramtieger and tell him to go West, West, North. Tell the Captain you will help him.
You are now at Madora Beach. Talk to the Captain and get 15 Halo Coins. Use these to bribe the Dudbears. Follow these directions:
- Right (talk to the central (third from the top) Dudbear and give it a coin).
- Right until enter the cave.
- Talk to a Dudbear to get 3 Li’l Bottles.
- Give one to the Lower Right exit.
- Right until you find more Dudbears.
- Center Dudbear has Pucashells for trade for 2 Li’l Bottles.
- Give one Shell to the Dudbear guarding the Upper Left exit.
- Left until you find more Dudbears.
- Give a Shell to the Upper Left exit.
- Leave to find the treasure.
- Offer the Dudbears a Halo Coin
