Where's Putty? is a quest in Legend of Mana.
Premise[edit]
Deep in the Ulkan Mines, a pair of Pirate Penguins hatched a plan to steal Putty, Roger's dog and revered figure among the Dudbears, in order to gain supremacy both on land and water. The canine cries for help, but is nontheless captured by the Penguins. Roger erupts into the crime scene, vowing revenge. The protagonist is tasked to help Roger find Putty, first by investigating the Penguins's lair, the SS Buccaneer. The holy dog is found hidden inside a barrel deep in the lower decks, but flees off the moment he's freed. Putty is then finally retrieved on a beach in Polpota Harbor. Roger and his Dudbears are overjoyed and loudly cry to celebrate.
Solution[edit]
Take a partner with you and enter the Ulkan Mines.
Use the Dudbear Express and you hear about Putty’s disappearance. Leave the mines by following these directions:
- Down
- Left
- Upper Left
- Up at statue
- Upper Right
- Upper Right
- Upper Left
- Left
Enter the SS Buccaneer and follow these instructions:
- Left
- Down
- Downstairs
- Left Door
- Downstairs
- Left Door
- Downstairs
- Search the moving barrel
- Talk to the Captain and have him let you leave the ship
Enter Polpota Harbor and go to the beach to find Putty.
